My Story
Hello, my name is Joseph, artistically known as JA Sax. I’m a Nigerian-born professional musician with many years of experience. I took up the saxophone in April 2022 during my stay in South Africa. Then I relocated to London in 2023 and joined a marimba band, at the same time playing my sax on the streets of London. People enjoyed my music and invited me to play at their events. Today I’ve performed over 100 gigs within and outside London as a solo saxophonist.

I was painted on a 12 metre mural by an amazing artist, Maralin Cottenham, at The Curve in Slough. That’s a surprise! She said that my music brings joy to many and she wanted to bring some to me, whilst rejuvenating the area. Thank you Maralin! The mural was opened on 17th September 2024.
Just playing some notes randomly on my saxophone when this tune jumped on me. So I decided to name it ”Spontaneous”.
